In Memoriam

DANIEL G. HELLER, MD, 9/17/1944 - 11/12/2004, was a founder of Centre Pediatrics. He graduated from Columbia College and New York University Medical Center. He trained in medicine and pediatrics at Boston City and Massachusetts General Hospitals and also specialized in pediatric nephrology. He was an assistant clinical professor at Harvard Medical School, Children's and Massachusetts General Hospitals and was on the editorial board of Well-Connected, a computer- accessed health journal. He leaves behind his wife, the Centre Pediatrics Office Manager and a former school committee member in Brookline, two daughters and a son. He had been in practice since 1976.

We are deeply saddened by his death. We will miss his humor and vivacity, his love for pediatrics and caring for your children, and his unique style and personality. We know that he was important to his patients and their parents and that many are grieving his sudden death as we are.
